Options for the MiniSub

Smart Sub

The SMARTSUB is a new option available for the MiniSub. You can now be aware of any problems relating to your MiniSub’s. The SMARTSUB is an alarm system that notifies a predetermined pager.
The SMARTSUB can:

- Detect low oil level in the transformer
- Detect low gas level in the switch.
- Detect unauthorized access. (Password protected)
- Detect a temperature rise in the MiniSub.

This includes:

- A modem
- Battery backup
- 6 sensors
- Control Panel
- Installation
- And more!
This is fully customizable. All of this for just under $1,000.
Note: (It calls you when it has a problem.)

Arc Guard Protection

The purpose of the Arc Guard System is to quickly detect the arc fault and disconnect an upstream breaker. The eye of the Arc Monitor, the detector, detects any larger increase in the light intensity. Upon detection of an arc, the Arc Monitor sends a signal directly to the tripping mechanism of the breaker, thus omitting any delays caused by relay protection or set delays due to selectivity.

Utility Metering Provision

Measurement Canada current transformers are pre-mounted over the low voltage bushings and pre-wired along with potential connections to terminal blocks, fused blocks and shorting connections. This is pre-wired to a standard meter socket mounted at the top of the low voltage section, ready to recieve the utility supply meter. Power Systems offers several utility approved meters at extra cost.
